About the Marina

Nestled just outside of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Green River Lake is a haven for lake lovers, water sport and fishing enthusiasts, and vacationers who just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This 8,210-acre lake offers over 33 miles of picture-perfect water lying between 250 miles of shoreline. The average depth is 50 feet and at its widest point 1 mile across. The lake was developed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers in 1969 by impounding the Green River. Operated and maintained primarily for flood control, the lake has become the major attraction of Green River Lake State Park.

Green River Marina is located 10 minutes from shopping and dining in Campbellsville. Our staff want to make your stay with us a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Our Story

Dennis & Alma Brinley acquired Green River Marina through an auction over 25 years ago. The Brinleys developed the marina and expanded it to what it is today: a family-friendly destination that meets all the needs of boaters throughout the seasons.

Our marina, which opened in 1972, has 353 slips to rent on an annual basis, which includes houseboats, cruisers, pontoons, and jet ski ports. We’re one of the few marinas that allows golf cart usage on the property. We’re also pet-friendly, have a newly renovated restroom and ship store, and a courteous staff.
